Islamic Studies

Islamic studies refer to the academic study of Islam. Islamic studies can be seen under at least two perspectives: From a secular perspective, Islamic studies is a field of academic research whose subject is Islam as religion and civilization. (Refer to syllabus)

Islamic Studies for Teens:

We are proud to announce that we be will starting an Islamic Studies course for teenagers.

Topics:

• Covering Islamic Doctrine (Aqida Tahawiya)
• Arabic grammar (Sarf/Nahw)
• Fiqh of worship, marriage, divorce, halal, and haram.
• Prophetic Biography with particular focus on the misunderstandings against Islam and their response.
• Spirituality through the Study of Imam Ghazali’s texts.

Timing:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday  7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Various Islamic courses for adults throughout the week

Monday evenings 8:30 pm – 10.00 pm studying Hadith sciences.
Saturday mornings 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm studying Quranic sciences and Tajweed.
