Our Vision
The Muslim community of Nottingham helped purchase land in 1976 to construct the city’s first purpose-built central mosque. With limited funds and a deep desire to seek the pleasure of Allah, the initial phase of the mosque was completed in March of 1992. Since then, as the size of the Muslim community has continued to grow, the mosque has also expanded to be able to accommodate for the community’s needs by providing essential religious, spiritual and educational services.
